Vermicompost

We harness the incredible beauty and power of red wriggler worms to stop wasting the precious resources of the farm’s food wastes, kitchen scraps, along with collecting food scraps from a roadside travelers eatery near our farm. We enhance the food scraps by mixing them by pre-composting them with manures. There are more than 10,000 varieties of earthworms with very few of them used for vermicomposting, chief among them red wrigglers and nightcrawlers.

Vermicompost is considered as (very dark) brown gold by farmers, for it’s incredible benefits for the soil and extremely bioavailable nutrients and enzymes for crops. In India, every single record breaking SCI yield that we have read about, has used vermicompost as part of their practices..

We make vermicompost extracts and intend on experimenting with vermicompost tea brews.
